Southwestern Chicken & Dumplings

Method

1. Season the chicken with garlic powder and brown it in the olive oil.

2. Add the flour and make a roux. Stir in the broth and soup and mix well.

3. Add the onion and potatoes, cover, and bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 1 hour.

4. Remove from the oven and break up the chicken into bite-size pieces. Stir in the peas.

5. Top with the raw biscuits, cover, and bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until the biscuits are no longer doughy.
