Potato Salad (Schultz Family Recipe)

Method

1. Place the potatoes in cold water and boil them in their skins until tender, about 30–40 minutes. (Starting in cold water helps them cook evenly.) Allow them to cool, then peel and cut into chunks.

2. Hard boil the eggs. Cool, peel, and cut into chunks.

3. Mix together the mayonnaise, vinegar, garlic salt, and pepper.

4. Mix thoroughly with the potatoes and eggs and chill for at least 2 hours. Taste test and adjust seasonings before serving.
