Ingredients: 6 large pears, peeled and cut into about 1/2-inch slices; 1 cup sugar; salt; 2 tbsp ground cinnamon; 2 tsp ground nutmeg; 2 stick butter; 2 cup sifted flour; 2 cup brown sugar; 1½ tbsp lemon juice

Method

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Peel the pears and cut into about 1/2-inch slices.
Mix the pears, sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and 2 tablespoons of the flour in a pan.
Combine the butter, the remaining flour, and the brown sugar, mashing until crumbly.
Pour the pear mixture into a pan of choice — a pie plate or any baking dish — and sprinkle the brown sugar mixture over the pears.
Bake for 35–45 minutes.
