Emily's Dill Pickles

Method

1. Wash cucumbers and slice to desired size.

2. Place dill, garlic cloves, and peppercorns into jars, then pack with cucumbers. Usually 2 cloves of garlic, 2–3 heads dill, and 6 peppercorns per jar.

3. Combine vinegar, salt, and water in a pot and bring to a boil. Pour into jars and process 15 minutes to seal.

4. Let pickles mature for at least 2 weeks, preferably a couple of months.
