Ingredients: 1¼ cup flour; 12 tbsp butter, cold, cut into small pieces; 2 tbsp sugar; 3 tbsp ice water

Method

Put the flour into the food processor.
Cut the butter into small pieces and add them and the sugar.
Start processing while adding just enough ice water so that the pastry holds together.
Roll the pastry out on a lightly floured board into a circle large enough to fill the pie plate.
Line the plate and chill.
Bake at 400°F (205°C) until desired doneness, about 10–12 minutes.
